Dr. Neda Petz, Psy.D.
A developmental psychologist specializing in autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and learning differences. She spent years at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Kaiser Permanente learning how kids connect and grow. A lifelong D&D enthusiast, she realized the collaborative storytelling at the heart of tabletop RPGs creates natural opportunities for children to practice empathy and social skills while having an absolute blast.
Johnny Brookbank
Father of four and a 20-year veteran of video production, where he honed creative problem-solving and detail-driven execution. Former president of The Balcony of LA nonprofit and the La Crescenta Elementary PTA, and a member of the Crescenta Valley Town Council. Discovering D&D later in life, he recognized its real-world benefits — communication, leadership, math, public speaking, teamwork — and set out to bring it to developing minds.
Eric Petz
Brings over 30 years of role-playing expertise to social-emotional learning. His love of D&D began at age 12, and he has spent three decades as a Quest Master, honing his craft through countless campaigns. Eric has personally witnessed the transformative power of tabletop gaming — watching players, especially neurodivergent players, blossom into confident communicators.
